Rachana’s practice primarily involves advising and strategizing with clients on Intellectual Property protection and management matters. She advises multinationals, SMEs and start-ups from diverse sectors on various Intellectual Property related issues, including protecting and safeguarding their trademarks, copyrights, patents and designs in India and in foreign jurisdictions.
She has expertise in all kinds of IP prosecution, contentious and litigation matters. She has expertise also in consultancy, business development and client relationships relating to IP matters. Clients trust her understanding of the key drivers of the industry and the science behind them. Education and Professional qualification
Rachana holds a master’s degree in law with specialization in Intellectual Property Laws from one of the leading institutes in India. She also holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry and a couple of IP certifications from WIPO. She is a registered patent agent, trade mark attorney as well as admitted as an advocate before Indian Court. She holds the membership of Asian Patent Attorneys Association.
