Arpita is an IP attorney and a Registered Patent Agent in India. She is actively involved in providing end to end Intellectual Property (IP) advice to the clients. Arpita has been working in the field of IP since 2008 and has rich experience in high quality drafting of patent applications and their prosecution. Ms. Arora regularly appears for hearings before the Intellectual Property Office and is well versed with the prosecution process of the Indian Patent Applications. She has also worked on oppositions before the Indian Patent Office.
She has an ability to communicate effectively with clients, ensuring that their needs are at the forefront of every strategy. By taking the time to understand each client’s unique goals and challenges, she develops tailored approaches that maximize their chances of securing valuable patents.
As a part of the technical team, she is responsible for handling the inflow of case volumes, guiding the team to improve upon addressing of objections in office actions (FERs), attending oral hearings before the Patent Office on behalf of top-notch companies and inventors for their inventions and handling client queries and corresponding corrective actions. From a business standpoint, she regularly meets inventors to understand their inventions and provide techno-legal advice based on their queries, encourages them to file more patents. Arpita being specialized in microbiology and biotechnology is also admitted to bar and has advised several clients ranging from the field of pharmaceuticals, textile, petroleum, nutraceuticals, materials and several other industries.
